RECENT PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Art and Media Director • Smokebrush Foundation for the Arts | 2012 to current

Contracted to assist in the reorganization and re-branding of a non-profit arts organization and yoga/event center, my role quickly grew as the foundation expanded its scope of operations to include the direction of multiple designers, photographers, and videographers. My duties include the creation of illustrations, design, branding, and marketing for numerous local and worldwide outreach programs, events, health-and-wellness publications, festivals, product design collaborations with local merchants, and detailed renderings of proposed art installations.

Art and Media Director • SunWellness Companies | 2014 to 2020

As Smokebrush non-profit grew, the organization began the planning of the construction of SunWater Spa, a for-profit multi-million dollar health and wellness facility. Initial project included branding development, building mockups, and brainstorming of service features and amenities. After opening, duties included direction of multiple designers, photographers and videographers, concept/design/marketing of various events, classes, programs and educational programs, as well as the creation of internal documents, brochures, and supplemental materials. Website development, video production, photography and newsletter marketing were an increased focus as the company expanded. Responsibilities grew as the company incorporated SunMountain Center (retreat and yoga center) and Hanuman Company (yoga festivals, online education, and outreach). The project required deep-understanding and exploration on how to grow in the burgeoning health and wellness market. Direct marketing and consumer behavior tools were utilized, and keyword research, SEO, and business analysis optimization were used to gain a foothold in the growing market.
